FAQs | Product Care

General Guidelines

  • Avoid Dark-Colored Materials & Denim
To keep your bags looking their best, we recommend avoiding contact with denim or other dark materials, as they may transfer color and cause stains.
  • Avoid Chemicals
Keep your bag away from alcohol and harsh chemicals. Exposing it to such may cause stains on the bag. If exposed, use some oil-based cleanser and gently wipe on the affected area.
  • Storage
When not in use, give your bag a break in a cool, dry spot away from any humidity. Keep your bag stuffed with tissue or bubble wrap (not newspaper—it transfers ink!) to help it hold its shape.

Material Care

LEATHER
  • Leather is durable but requires gentle care. Wipe down the exterior monthly with a damp cloth to prevent dirt buildup.
  • For tougher stains, use a soft cloth with an oil-based cleanser. Always wipe gently and avoid harsh chemicals.
  • To treat ink or pen marks, gently blot the area with mild soap and water. For deeper stains, test a small amount of oil-based cleanser on a hidden area first.
SUEDE
  • Suede is sensitive to moisture; always keep it dry as water can leave permanent marks.
  • Brush gently with a suede brush or soft, dry cloth to lift surface dirt and restore the natural texture.
  • For light stains or ink marks, use a suede eraser or a clean pencil eraser. If an ink mark persists, seek professional cleaning to avoid damaging the nap.
NYLON & SATIN
  • Mix mild soap with water and gently scrub the area with a soft brush. Wipe away residue with a damp cloth and pat dry with a towel.
  • Always air-dry in a cool, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight or heat, as this can cause the material to fade.
  • For ink or pen stains, gently dab the spot with a cotton pad dipped in rubbing alcohol or non-acetone makeup remover. Test a small area first to ensure colorfastness.
  • Due to the nature of the material, puckering and creasing may naturally develop over time, especially with frequent use. While steaming may help reduce visible creases, they will reappear with wear as the material naturally folds.
CANVAS LINING
  • Pull the lining out and fold the leather exterior away. Dab with a microfiber cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  • Use a toothbrush for makeup stains. For greasy spots, sprinkle with baking soda before cleaning in a circular motion.
  • Allow the lining to air-dry inside-out completely away from direct sun before reinserting it into the bag.
